How many "credits" will a basic flash cost?
A basic flash costs $5 USD (1 credits)

Is there a discount if I buy larger quantity's of credits or as I flash more phones (volume pricing levels)?
We do not currently offer a volume discount on credits, however we are researching how to best offer a volume discount in the future.

What phones are you capable of flashing?
We are capable of flashing most CDMA cellular handsets for TALK and TEXT. The capability to FULL flash a phone depends on many factors. FlashToTalk will indicate if a phone cannot be flashed.

How many cables are included and what manufacturers might you be able to flash using them?
The standard cable set includes 8 cables that provide communication to most major handsets.

Will the cables I already own work with your system?
Yes – many of the standard handset data cables will function with FlashToTalk, however some handsets require special or modified cables to flash correctly.

Can I buy cables individually to fill the gaps in what I already own now or at a later date?
Yes. We plan on expanding our offering of cables to include individual cables.

As new phones come out how much might additional cables cost?
Individual cables can range in price from $5.99 to $19.99. Custom cables will probably cost more.

Do any credits come with the cost of the terminal/terminal cable package?
We are currently developing packages that will include credits and hardware.

Is there a way to see what I have used my credits on?
Please visit the administration portal to view your account status.

Will I need anything special for my flashing terminal to operate?
A standard keyboard and mouse are included with a FlashToTalk terminal. Also, a dedicated broadband connection is required. A monitor is also required for user interaction.

How large is the flashing terminal?
Our standard flashing terminal averages 12” deep, 12” tall and 3“ wide.

Can I flash more than one phone at a time?
No. Currently FlashToTalk supports flashing only one handset at a time.

How will I be able to know which phones can be basic or full flashed?
When FlashToTalk is started and a handset it connected, the software will only present the flash type (basic or full) that is supported by the handset.

Is there a standard computer & cable warranty?
All flashing computers and cables are covered by our 90 day unconditional warranty. As a service to our customer, if any system is not in working condition we provide return shipment to our facilities for the defective product and either replace or repair your purchase with no additional charge to you the customer.

Is there an extended warranty available for the terminal?
A one year extended warranty is available on flashing computers for $19.95. The extended warranty benefits include:- Free Call-in Technical Support (Monday – Friday 8:00am – 5:00pm CST)
- Free Parts and Labor for specific the problems under warranty.
- Free Replacement if item cannot be repaired.
- Free Shipping from FlashToTalk for problem product under warranty. (Return shipping not included)
All replacement shipments will be sent via UPS 3-5 day standard ground shipping. (Lower 48 States Only)

Why is the Palm® cable more expensive than other cables?
We endeavor to give you the “freedom to flash”. In the process of locating the needed resources, we found no standard cable solution for the listed Palm® smartphones. Rather than drop these phones from support, we chose to offer a custom made cable in its place. As a result, the cost of the item is more than the standard cables.
